Sail Away, sail away, sail away!
Discover your peace... out on the water ... where the sky meets the water and all you hear is the splash of the waves, the flap of the sail and the seagulls' calls. Join us as we embark on a 6 hour day filled with quiet moments, friendly connections, and inner journeying. Our trip includes:

We set sail on the "Spray" with Captain Brian from the Forked River Beach Bay Front Park promptly at 10. We will need to take a dinghy out to the ship and climb the ladder to get on the ship. We will return to shore for 4pm. Please note the following:
¨ Wear a swimsuit or clothes you can get wet in and deck shoes (no black soles please)
¨ Bring a towel, cushion, hat, sunglasses, camera, snacks, rafts, journal, jacket or whatever would makes you feel comfortable
¨ Please do NOT use spray sunblock as it discolors the fiberglass
-- This is an alcohol free sail. Please respect the wishes of the Captain!
¨ Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or suggestions
¨ Paddleboards are available but you can bring your own
¨ On board are restrooms, a refrigerator, stove, grill and storage
-- We have not set a rain date. In case of inclement weather, we will reschedule or refund your money. We will leave that call up to Captain Brian and let you know the day before.

The SPRAY is a Bristol 47.7' cruising sailboat. She is seaworthy, safe, fast and comfortable. The SPRAY is fully equipped with the best of everything needed for cruising for and hour or month. She is USCG documented. She has an extensive east coast sailing resume and has cruised in waters from the Caribbean to Maine. She accommodates 6 passengers comfortably with her 3 cabin and 2 head layout. She has all the comforts of home built into her galley including refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stove top, oven and coffee maker. Her spacious salon has TV, radio, computer, internet and air conditioning throughout. She is truly one of the nicest sailing yachts in the area.
About Your Guides
Jakki Gioia discovered her enthusiasm for sailing on a Hobie Cat in Jamaica in 2007 but renewed it in 2020 on board the Spray for her first 4 hour sail. She is excited to share this peace with others as part of the Journey into Joy experience. She has been trained in 3 forms of Qi Gong and is a Reiki Master and multi-talented healer. She will guide the meditation with optional essential oils to take you on a deeper journey within to discover your secret spark and awaken your intuition. She may even sing an original song if spirit moves
Captain Brian is a true waterman. He holds a USCG 100 ton master captains license. He has a passion for recovery and the water and loves to pass it on to others. Over the years he has turned many people on to the numerous water sports in the Barnegat Bay area. He has been surfing, sailing and enjoying all that the Barnegat Bay and Atlantic Ocean have to offer for over 40 years. Which has provided him with a unique and extensive knowledge of the area and it’s conditions.
